The Stamperia/Daily Window® Design Challenge Winner Announcement
Runner up Artist Angela Maine
Below Artist Angela Maine tells how she created her fabulous card
Supplies Used:
1:Adirondack Alcohol inks in purple twilight, watermelon and sunset orange
2:Ranger non-stick Craft sheet,
3:Rubbing alcohol in a mister bottle
4:Glossy cardstock

How Angela Maine created her card:

1:Angela Maine applied the inks onto the craft sheet and misted with the alcohol.

2: She placed the glossy side down into the alcohol ink and moved and twisted the paper on the craft sheet and she continued until most of the surface was covered.

3:Angela Maine's glossy sheet was cut to 5.5 by 8.5.

4:Once the glossy sheet dried she stamped her main floral image with a Verve clear stamp with “Memories acid free dye ink Violet”.

5: She then stamped the larger flower first and then stamped a post-it to mask the larger flower and stamped the smaller two on each side.

6: She masked the three main flowers to stamp the Verve foliage.

7: The larger flower was stamped again in Archival black ink with the clear stamp outline and the sentiment is Verve as well.

8: The main image panel was cut down to 5” by 5” and flowers were stamped onto remaining piece with the outline flower and cut out. Some were popped up with foam mount.

9:Gold liquid pearls were added to the centers.

  1. Your card is lovely! Great color choices and the cutout flowers add so much to the composition. The liquid pearls make a perfect embellishment to make the flowers pop.
